USING YOUR COLOURKEY®
COLOURKEY® is an easy-to-use measurement and lookup tool and more. Measure any colour, on almost any surface, and get the closest paint colour match, from a database of thousands (including British Standard and RAL, as well as Crown Paints interior and exterior collections), on your Smartphone. COLOURKEY® not only provides paint library results, but also LRV, HEX, RGB, Lab, LCH & CMYK values, as well as suggested colour schemes and even lets you visualise the colour matches in a room setting.

STEP 2 - GET CONNECTED
- Make sure your Bluetooth is switched on
- Open your app and wake up the COLOURKEY® by pressing the button on the top of the unit
- Leaving the black cap on your COLOURKEY® follow the prompt to calibrate your device and you’re ready to go
STEP 3 - READ A COLOUR
- Remove the black cap and pop it on the other end of your device. Be careful not to lose or damage the cap – that little white dot calibrates your COLOURKEY®
- Place the sensor directly on to the sample to be matched and select “Read” on your app
- Using advanced LED technology, COLOURKEY® measures the surface colour and provides the best match from the database on your app
STEP 4 - EXTRA FEATURES
- To access more colour features tap on the colour match returned from your scan
- Create a colour scheme around your colour with the Coordinate Colors feature
- View additional colour data, such as LRV, RGB and CMYK values or save your colour to a personal colour palette which you can share with colleagues
STEP 5 - VISUALISER FEATURE
- Upload, take or choose a room image from the library
- View your colour in situ and refine as necessary
- Save and share your image
